The Amazing Spider-man trailer

Sony Pictures released the brand new trailer for The Amazing Spider-man directed by Marc Webb (500 days of summer).

The cast includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker,  Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as May Parker, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard

I really don’t know what to think about this reboot. Sure, I love Spidey and I think the cast is pretty good, but I think it’s rather unnecessarily; Sam Raimi’s trilogy, although not perfect, was pretty good and I don’t know what this new entry will bring into the franchise that wasn’t been told before. It looks much more dramatic than the previous installments. I could be wrong and this movie will be like the equivalent of Batman Begins for this saga, but I really don’t know…
